The March, 2017 issue of Journal of Applied Bioanalysis (Vol. 3 No. 2) is a special focused issue dedicated to recent developments in the bioanalysis of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs). The Journal of Applied Bioanalysis (JAB) invites the submission of abstracts on topics related to the bioanalysis of monoclonal antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates. Abstract proposals will be used to select and invite papers for final review and consideration. Not selected papers for this special issue will be published in a separate regular issue of Journal of Applied Bioanalysis.

Journal of Applied Bioanalysis is looking for high quality, short or full length, data-driven research papers, reviews and perspective articles related to all aspects of the discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies, with an emphasis on biochemical, cell-based and analytical assays.

Areas of interest include but are not limited to:

- Hyphenated LBA LC-MS method development and validation for quantitation of mAb and ADC
- Quantitation of small molecules for ADC
- Sensitivity optimization for LBA LC-MS methods
- Automation of LBA LC-MS methods for high throughput sample assay
- Ligand binding assay method development and validation
- Intact protein analysis by using mass spectrometry
- Quantitation of small molecules for ADC
- Quantitation of antibodies (mAb and ADC) in tissue sample
- Recovery evaluation for antibody quantification
- In vivo metabolism of antibody drugs
and other related topics

The timeline for this special focused issue is as follows:

Manuscript submission start:   September 1, 2016.
Deadline submission of first drafts:   January 1, 2017.
